About the Producer

Quinta dos Sentidos, nestled in the hills of Silves, is a project that exudes authenticity. Created by Beat and Charlotte, two passionate individuals who traded certainty for the adventure of winemaking in the Algarve, the property has become a space where nature, creativity, and dedication meet.

Here, the five senses are awakened at every step: the red of the Silves sandstone that dominates the landscape, the aroma of wild thyme, the sound of crickets at dusk, the texture of the vines in the limestone soil and, of course, the taste of the wines that are born there.

The philosophy is clear: respect nature and intervene as little as possible, so that each vineyard can express itself authentically. The farm integrates 1.5 acres of untouched wilderness, with half a million bees, an organic lake, and more than 300 plant species, including 110 fruit trees of diverse origins. Everything is designed to create a vibrant and balanced ecosystem.

The wines reflect this vision — boutique productions, full of freshness and character, that carry with them the Algarve soul. Paladar Tinto celebrates the uncomplicated elegance of the Algarve . It's a red wine that combines freshness and smoothness in perfect balance. This is an accessible, well-rounded and harmonious wine, made to be enjoyed without pretension.

The nose is delicate: aromas of ripe raspberry and a floral touch dominate. On the palate, it is round and smooth. The tannins are silky and perfectly integrated, giving a smoothness that invites a second taste.

With its lighter body, it's an extremely versatile dinner companion. It's ideal for Italian and casual dishes, such as burrata with pesto or a classic Neapolitan pizza . It also shines with the comfort of a mushroom risotto .
